Today I’m sharing 3 simple, inexpensive, quick and easy crockpot/slow cook recipes that have 4 ingredients each! These are dump and go recipes that require very little preparation. Cook with me as I make teriyaki chicken wings, Italian dressing chicken (using my favorite Olive Garden dressing) and a tasty cherry dump cake! These recipes are family favorites. I hope you enjoy them!
4 lbs frozen chicken wings
8 oz soy sauce
1 lb brown sugar
1 T cornstarch
Place frozen wings in the crockpot. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce and cornstarch. Add in the brown sugar and whisk till combined. Add mixture to crockpot and cook on high 3-4 hours or low 6-8 hours.
* if sauce is too sweet, add a splash of white vinegar at the end.
Olive Garden Chicken:
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 cup Olive Garden Italian dressing
1/2 cup shredded or grated Parmesan cheese
1 T cornstarch
Spray crockpot with non-stick spray. Add chicken breast (I used thinly sliced chicken so it would cook faster). In a bowl, whisk together dressing and cornstarch. Then stir in cheese. Add dressing mixture to crockpot. Cook time will depend on how thick your chicken is and how quickly your crockpot cooks. Mine was finished in around 3 hours on low.
Cherry Dump Cake:
2 cans (21 oz each) cherry file filling
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 box yellow cake mix
Spray crockpot with non-stick spray. Add cherry pie filling. In a bowl, combine the cake mix and melted butter. Top cherries with cake mix. Cook on high for 1 hours and then low for another hour or 2 (depending on how quickly your crockpot cooks). It’ll be bubbly and slightly browned when done.
