Creamy Mushroom Chicken Recipe ~ Slow Cooker Cream of Mushroom Chicken

INGREDIENTS:
6 skinless bone in chicken thighs
1 cup large diced onions
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped carrots
1 – 8oz sliced mushrooms
1 cup frozen peas
1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley
4 oz cubed cream cheese

Gravy:
1 – 26oz can cream of mushroom soup
3-4 cloves minced garlic
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. onion powder
*Mix above ingredients.

1/2 cup water
1 tsp. Roasted chicken Better Than Bouillon
2 tsp. cornstarch
*Mix above ingredients and add to sauce

Place chicken on bottom of slow cooker. Add vegetables on top.
Pour sauce over top and level out.
Cook on high for 3-4 hours or on the low setting 5-6 hours.
One half hour before done, add chopped parsley, peas and cream cheese.
Cook for another 20-30 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Serve with pasta, rice, potatoes, or even some steamed broccoli.
Enjoy.
