Nutrition for Al Pastor meat (about 2 Cups): Time stamp 2:23
5 lbs Pork Shoulder
1/2 cup Red onion
3 Tbsp Chili Powder
2 Tbsp Lime Juice
6 tsp White Vinegar
2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Ground Cumin
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
210g can of Chipotles in Adobo Sauce
22.5oz can of Pineapple Chunks
12oz bottle of Beer
-Cut your pork into cubes and set them into your crock-pot.
-In a blender, mix red onion, chili powder, lime juice, white vinegar, salt, cumin, black pepper, chipotles in adobo, pineapple chunks. Once mixture is blended add in beer and stir until it is incorporated into the mixture.
-Pour your mixture over the meat in the crock-pot and mix until all pieces are coated.
-Cook on low for 8-10 hours (recommended for most tender meat) or on high for 4-5 hours
-Shred the meat in the crock-pot, or in a separate bowl
