✅ Air Fryer Baked Donut Recipe:
Yield: 8 donuts
1 cup (120 grams) all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt (OMIT if you are using salted butter!)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 large egg (room temp)
1/3 cup (65 grams) packed brown sugar
1/4 cup (60 ml) milk (try for room temp)
1/4 cup (60 grams) plain yogurt (try for room temp) – sour cream or greek yogurt will work too
2 tablespoons (30 grams) unsalted butter, melted
1.5 teaspoons (or half a tablespoon) vanilla extract
Cinnamon/Sugar Mixture: 1 cup (200 grams) granulated sugar mixed with 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Melt about 4 tablespoons of butter for dipping.

Whisk the dry ingredients together and set aside. In a new bowl, whisk egg, brown sugar, milk and yogurt together until smooth. Add melted butter and vanilla. Combine then add the wet mix to the dry mix… mix until just combined (don’t over mix). Pipe or spoon batter into 3″ silicone donut pans (I used these https://amzn.to/3bYaqwO and trimmed them down to fit my air fryer). Alternately, you can use muffin bites pans, just don’t fill the center cavity. Preheat air fryer at 400˚ for 2-3 minutes. Then carefully place pan in air fryer and bake at 330˚F/165C for 6 minutes or until internal temp reads above 160˚F/70C. Let cool for about 2 min in pan, then carefully pop them out onto a baking rack. Dip the nice round part of the donut in melted butter and then the cinnamon and sugar mixture. Then if you want, you can put donuts back into air fryer and toast for another 2 minutes anywhere from 350˚ – 400˚ (175-200C). Donut bites cook at 350˚F/175C for 6 minutes. This will vary because the muffin/donut bite pans all vary in size. ENJOY!

6 tablespoons unsalted butter (85 grams)
2 cups powdered sugar (224 grams)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract (8 grams)
2 to 4 tablespoons hot water (29-58 grams)
