New To Me Recipe No. 1: Crockpot Pork Chops & Veggies plus Fried Corn

Crockpot Pork Chops & Veggies
Layer in your crockpot:
8 small red potatoes,
scrubbed & quartered
3 stalks celery, cut in 3″ pieces
1 pound baby carrots
4 boneless pork chops
1 envelope dried onion soup mix
2 cans (10.5 oz each) Cream
of Mushroom soup
1 onion, sliced
Cook on low 6 to 8 hours
Fried Corn
6 ears of corn, shucked, cut off the cob,
and cob scraped to release the corn
1 stick of butter
salt & pepper
Melt butter in skillet
Add corn kernels and cook on medium-low, stirring constantly about 15 minutes
add salt & pepper to taste
***I have always added 1 cup evaporated milk while cooking to make it cream style corn
